Education is messy. Sometimes that mess looks like standing ankle deep in a puddle of mud when you're teaching 7 year olds how to garden. Other times, it's wiping a third grader's lunch off after they laughed so hard that it flew a table length's distance away into your face. Or, maybe it's when the video call with that student who you finally connected with just keeps dropping off.

Messy situations are what keep us passionate about education. We believe that learning is messy. But, we also believe that learning is  joyful, exhilarating, and rewarding.

The messy mud pile grew into an overflowing wildflower garden... and those 7 year old gardeners became advocates for pollinators and stewards in their communities teaching others how they can garden too.
